The Goomtee factory is now inspected and certified under ISO9001 and the HACCP protocols. We exactly follow the original and traditional methods of Darjeeling cultivation and processing. Most of our co-workers families are in their third generation of service and possess great artesian skills.

Years of experience enable our tea makers to correctly estimate moisture content with 0.2% accuracy by touch and feel.

All Goomtee teas receive an extra pre-pack bake. We sacrifice 1.5% to 2% of our production this way, but it ensures superior keeping quality over extended periods in our customers' hands.

We take special care for achieving consistency from invoice to invoice in terms of true grading.
